This policy explains how ReceiptMoa ("the service") handles your information.

1. Your receipt photos and results never leave your browser

  • Receipt photos you add, the text read from them, and anything you type or fix in the table are processed entirely inside your browser.
  • The service does not run a server that receives this data, and never includes it in any network request. It is never passed to advertising scripts.
  • Photos and table contents are not saved to browser storage such as localStorage. They disappear when you refresh or close the page. (Exception: store names you fix, see section 2.)
  • The Excel file is created on your device and downloaded directly.

2. What is stored in your browser

  • Text recognition models: the first time you run recognition, the recognition models (PaddleOCR, plus Tesseract language data as a fallback) are downloaded from the same address as the service. They may be kept in your browser cache or storage (IndexedDB) so they don't need to be downloaded again. They contain no information about you.
  • Store names you fix: when you correct a store name in the table, only that store name is remembered in this browser's storage (localStorage) so it can be matched first next time. Photos, dates, amounts and the rest of the table are never saved or sent to a server. You can remove them at any time with the "Clear remembered store names" button on the tool page or by clearing site data in your browser.

3. Information we collect

There are no accounts, and the service does not directly collect personal information such as your name or contact details. No analytics tools are used.

The hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process access logs (such as IP address, request time and browser information) for security and reliable operation. These logs never include your receipt photos or results.

4. Advertising and cookies

The service may show ads through Google AdSense.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message first.

How to opt out of personalized ads

  • Turn off personalized ads in Google My Ad Center.
  • Opt out of other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The receipt tool keeps working with cookies blocked.
